A day at home, wow and yea, sometimes the week gets going so fast that your body just goes and then you realize, it's tired. Wonderful hubby decided to run the shop today so I get a day at home. Noticing there is no Christmas decorations up and the house just needs some "cheering" up I plan on getting some ideas ready for the kids to do. I am intrigued by these sputnik ornaments, and I am gonna work on an idea to make them from aluminum foil for the tree this year and let the kids attempt to make most of them. This year a Real Tree inside YEA, that is for the weekend after this. So decorating and getting ready will be on the schedule for this weekend. Hoping for just a nice handmade tree this year including stringing popcorn I remember doing this with my brothers and sisters, and wanting to bring in some traditions with my guys I think it will be a fun night of popping popcorn and stringing for the tree. Hopefully the cats and Dogs won't eat it :) Actually I am really hoping I don't wake up one morning after all the decorating is done and the cats have climbed and brought down the tree, I hope not but won't be surprised. Some painting to do today too. And old Rooster a man brought in for an order neat little antique Metal Rooster that needs some paint. Then some of my own creating. Then if there is time some work on some sewn things I have cut out just not the time to sew, but before all the fun begins that little thing of house cleaning to be done, oh atleast its a something that we always know we have a job in I suppose lol.
