I am always looking and viewing life for inspiration. I get alot from the kids and just people passing down the street. Expressions become some of my character paintings, sometimes I draw from events and they become my landscape paintings. I love diversity that probably shows, whimsical is my favorite but I can turn and spend many days on primitives, and folk art.
Being around other artist of course inspires, and helps with encouragement and brainstorming. Having our hands at the internet sure helps too. I like to go outside the normal searches and try to find inspiration I love Home decor, and find I can look through blogs and websites for sometimes hours just viewing home decor.
As of Late I have come across a few I thought I would share so much eye candy to be had and lots of tips and unique ideas, sometimes even old ideas that I had forgotten about which is fun to come across because it usually brings up a memory of when I first saw it.
Colors and patterns can be very inspiring when creating. I love scrapbook paper not that I do scrap booking at all. but the papers are so inspiring by colors or patterns my head just starts whole stories or ideas with them. When you look around feel free to just free your mind and take notes of what pops into it will be a great way to have new ideas, and creations for the whole upcoming year. Most important make sure when you create from being inspired you create you and not copy. Make your inspiration become yours, and flow straight from you.
